I am a Television/Film-focused actor, raised in Iowa, trained in Chicago, and I’m expediting my career in Los Angeles. My acting career officially began in Alabama when I took my first bow as a young British revolutionary in the summer of 2000 at the Birmingham Festival Theater. By 2003, I was in Chicago submerged in long-form improvisation at Improv Olympic and studying variations of The Meisner Technique at the Acting Studio Chicago. A short year later, I starred in my first feature film, and then went on to land lead roles in four more features, two short films, two commercial spots, as well as one music video, all in 16 months. I seized that momentum, left the Midwest, and moved to Hollywood in August of 2008 where I am continuing to build a respectable career.
Assisting me in my campaign is ARC Talent Management whom I signed with after only six weeks under my belt in LA and as of late, The Kolstein Talent Agency. They have reaffirmed my belief in the power of a strong business relationship and together, we’ve been tenderly knocking down the doors of casting directors all over town. Much like I did in Chicago, I continue to study and hone my talents as an actor here in LA and I’m doing so with the aid of two unapologetically passionate teachers. Joshua Bitton heads an advanced scene study class and for six months, he has been relentlessly challenging me with my craft. Craig Archibald has coached me for several auditions for both television and film. The result of their tutelage has helped me land twelve projects in the last year including a feature film, a television appearance, four short films, a handful of commercial projects, as well as a month in the Bahamas hosting a web-based travel show.
With this new surge of momentum, backed by an ever-dependable force of support, and reinforced by the undying encouragement of my family and friends, I forge ahead with a smile and do my best to seize the opportunities that blossom here every single day.
My Family and friends.
