Concept Trailer Contest
Have an amazing concept for a film but lack the funding to make that concept a reality? Or, maybe you've started shooting but underestimated cost of completion. Create a 2-4 minute trailer/promo that embodies your films full scope, and enter it into our concept film challenge! The top concept will win $10,000 to put toward the making of a short or full-length feature film1.
Submissions
April 1, 2012- June 30, 2012. The submission period for this contest runs from April 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012. There is a $50 non-refundable submission fee. Trailer Wars reserves the right to use any and/or all uploaded material related to each contestant submission for site and contest promotional purposes.
Voting
July 1, 2012- August 15, 2012. The voting period (for all entries) will run July 1, 2012 to August 15, 2012. The top 20 trailers will then advance to the final voting round running August 16, 2011 to August 31, 2011. All trailers uploaded prior to submission deadline will have a contestant tag applied to their trailer and will be fully marketable. Ratings will not count toward actual contest during this period.
Winner
The fan chosen winner will be announced on September 1, 2012! See official rules for more details..
Post Production
You've done it. Your film has wrapped and you're gearing up for promotion and distro. But, what's a cost effective way to reach your target market? And how well will your project be received by the masses? Test the waters! Upload your 2-4 minute post production trailer here and let the fans decide if your film is Indies next big thing! The top trailers will earn months of great promotion, for next to nothing... and the winning trailer will pocket a $10,000 grand prize to boot!
